Who is Eduardo Riedel?
In short
Eduardo Riedel is a professional football manager from Brazil. He is currently well known for coaching the Brazilian club Palmeiras.
In plain words
He is a person whose job is to lead a football team. He decides which players should play in a match, creates the tactics to win games, and helps the players work well together as a group.
A simple example
Imagine a school football team where a teacher decides who plays as the striker and who plays in goal to help the team win a trophy. Eduardo Riedel does this same job, but for a very large professional club.
Why it matters
He is important because he helps one of the biggest clubs in South America succeed. His decisions on the pitch can lead to winning major championships and bringing joy to many fans.
Easy to mix up
People sometimes confuse football managers with football players. While players are the ones running on the pitch to kick the ball, a manager like Riedel stays on the sidelines to give instructions.
