Vct
In short
VCT stands for Valorant Champions Tour, the official professional esports circuit for the tactical shooter game Valorant.
In plain words
It is a series of organised tournaments where the best players in the world compete for prizes. The tour moves through different stages to decide who is the ultimate champion.
A simple example
A professional team travels to a stadium to play against another team in a live match. The winner of the final tournament earns the title of Valorant Champion.
Why it matters
It provides a structured way for professional players to earn a living and gain fame. It also allows fans to watch high-level competition in a standardised format.
Easy to mix up
Do not confuse it with the VCT in medical terms, which can refer to ventricular tachycardia.
