Thompson High School Football Game Canceled
In short
Thompson High School has cancelled its final regular season home football game of the 2026 season. The decision was announced on Monday, 19 October 2026.
In plain words
The football team will not play their last home match at Warrior Stadium this year. This change means the team will have a week off instead of playing at home.
A simple example
Instead of hosting their final home match in Alabaster, the Thompson Warriors will now have a break in their schedule.
Why it matters
The cancellation affects the final home appearance for the season and alters the team's momentum heading into the next stage of play. It also impacts fans planning to attend the game at Warrior Stadium.
Easy to mix up
Do not confuse this with other recent game cancellations caused by wildfires in Southern California or weather disruptions from Hurricane Isaias.
