Resultados Das Eleicoes
In short
Resultados das Eleições refers to the official outcomes of an election. It shows which candidates or parties won seats or offices in a voting process.
In plain words
When people vote in an election, the votes are counted to see who won. The final list of winners and the number of votes each person received is called the election results. These results tell the public who will lead the government or represent them in meetings.
A simple example
Imagine a school holds a vote to choose a new head boy. After everyone has voted, the teacher counts the slips of paper and announces that Sam got 50 votes and Alex got 30 votes. The announcement that Sam is the winner is the election result.
Why it matters
These results are important because they decide who makes the laws and manages the country. They allow citizens to see if the people they want are in power and help ensure the democratic process is working correctly.
Easy to mix up
People sometimes mix up election results with election polls. A poll is just a guess or a survey of what people might do before they vote, whereas the results are the actual, final numbers from the real voting.
