Ps Plus Games
In short
The October 2026 PlayStation Plus lineup features major titles including Mafia: The Old Country, Horizon Forbidden West, and the co-op shooter Mycopunk. These games are being added to the Extra and Premium game catalogues.
In plain words
It is a monthly selection of video games that subscribers can play for free. Depending on your subscription level, you get access to a large library of titles to download and enjoy.
A simple example
A subscriber paying for the Extra tier can download and play Horizon Forbidden West without buying the game separately.
Why it matters
This service provides high-quality games at a lower cost than buying each one individually. The October update is considered one of the strongest collections in recent months.
Easy to mix up
Do not confuse these monthly catalogue games with the single monthly 'free games' offered to the basic Essential tier.
