Programacao Globo
In short
Programação Globo is the daily schedule of television programmes broadcast by the Brazilian network TV Globo. It dictates when news, soap operas, and variety shows air across the country.
In plain words
It is a timetable for what people watch on TV Globo. It tells viewers when their favourite shows start and end each day.
A simple example
A viewer checks the schedule to see that a popular telenovela begins at a specific time in the evening. This allows them to plan their day around the broadcast.
Why it matters
Because TV Globo is a major broadcaster, its schedule influences the daily routines of millions of people. It also determines when advertisements and cultural events reach a massive audience.
Easy to mix up
Do not confuse the programme schedule with the actual content of the shows themselves.
