Playstation Plus October 2026 Games
In short
PlayStation Plus has added five new free games this month, including a major AAA open-world adventure. However, GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 are scheduled to leave the Game Catalog on 17 November.
In plain words
Sony has released a new batch of games for Extra and Premium subscribers. This month's update features a mix of indie, AA, and AAA titles. Some popular older games will be removed from the service very soon.
A simple example
Subscribers can now play a new large-scale open-world adventure for free, but they must finish GTA 5 before it disappears in November.
Why it matters
The monthly updates change which games are available to play without extra cost. Players need to track these dates so they do not lose access to their favourite titles.
Easy to mix up
Do not confuse the new games being added with the games being removed from the catalogue.
