Okc Thunder Roster
In short
The Oklahoma City Thunder roster is a deep collection of talent managed by General Manager Sam Presti, recently highlighted by a dominant season-opening win against the San Antonio Spurs.
In plain words
The team consists of many skilled players that allow them to stay strong even when rotating through the bench. Their roster is built so well that some analysts joke it looks almost too easy to construct.
A simple example
During the season opener against the Spurs, the team used rookie Aday Mara, a 7'3" centre, to provide size from the bench.
Why it matters
A deep roster allows the team to remain competitive and healthy throughout a long season. It also makes them difficult for opponents to defend because they have many high-quality options.
Easy to mix up
Do not confuse the roster with the team's salary cap, which is the financial limit on how much they can spend on players.
