Nuit
In short
Nuit is the goddess of the infinite sky and space in the Thelemic religious system. She appears as the primary speaker in the first chapter of The Book of the Law.
In plain words
She represents the boundless universe and everything that exists. In art, she is often shown as a woman covered in stars stretching across the heavens.
A simple example
A practitioner might view the night sky as the physical body of Nuit, representing the infinite possibilities of the cosmos.
Why it matters
She is a central figure in Western esotericism and defines the spiritual concept of infinite expansion. Her teachings form the foundation of Thelemic philosophy.
Easy to mix up
Do not confuse her with the Ancient Egyptian goddess Nut, though Nuit is heavily based on her.
