In short
Martin Degaard is a well-known New Zealand-based author and educator who specialises in teaching people how to play the guitar.
In plain words
He writes books and creates online lessons to help guitar players improve their skills. His teaching style focuses on making complex music theory and techniques easy for beginners and intermediate players to understand through practical exercises.
