Mama 2026
In short
Mama 2026 is the latest instalment in the horror film franchise following the supernatural entity known as Mama. It was released in cinemas during the autumn of 2026.
In plain words
This is a scary movie about a ghostly figure that takes control of children. It continues the story of the spirits that haunt families in the series.
A simple example
A family moves into a new house only to find that a spirit from the previous film has returned to claim a child.
Why it matters
The film is a major release for horror fans and tests whether the franchise can remain popular years after the original. It uses modern special effects to create jump scares.
Easy to mix up
Do not confuse this with the 2013 film of the same name, which started the series.
