Lego Hello Kitty
In short
The LEGO Group and Sanrio have officially announced a new partnership to release Hello Kitty and Friends sets in 2027.
In plain words
LEGO is teaming up with the Sanrio brand to make building sets based on famous characters. These sets will feature Hello Kitty and her friends, such as My Melody and Kuromi.
A simple example
Fans will be able to buy LEGO kits that allow them to build scenes or figures from the Hello Kitty universe.
Why it matters
This marks the first time these iconic characters will be available in official LEGO brick form. It connects two massive global fanbases through a multi-year collaboration.
Easy to mix up
Do not confuse this with existing Sanrio-themed building blocks made by other brands.
