Juego De Tronos
In short
Juego de Tronos is a massive fantasy media franchise based on the works of George R. R. Martin. A major film titled Aegon's Conquest is currently scheduled for release on 1 June 2029.
In plain words
It is a collection of books, television shows, and upcoming films set in a magical world. HBO is using more source material from the author to ensure new projects avoid the controversial ending of the original series.
A simple example
The upcoming movie will follow Aegon the Conqueror, the founder of the Targaryen dynasty, as he builds his empire.
Why it matters
The franchise is expanding into cinema, marking a shift from television to big-screen productions. Fans are watching closely to see if new adaptations can fix the narrative mistakes made in the original show.
Easy to mix up
Do not confuse the fantasy series with the Chilean political metaphor used to describe how certain firms influenced government appointments.
