Is Lamar Jackson Out For The Season
In short
Lamar Jackson's status for the rest of the season remains uncertain due to a thumb injury. While his availability is not yet confirmed, his backup Tyler Huntley has officially been ruled out for the season.
In plain words
The Baltimore Ravens are facing a crisis at quarterback. Jackson is dealing with a thumb injury, and his main replacement, Tyler Huntley, now needs surgery for turf toe and cannot play again this year.
A simple example
The Ravens must now rely on undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano to start this Thursday against the Jaguars because their top two quarterbacks are unavailable.
Why it matters
The team's success depends heavily on Jackson, as they have a much better record with him than without him. Losing both primary quarterbacks leaves the team in a very difficult position for the rest of the season.
Easy to mix up
Do not confuse Lamar Jackson's uncertain thumb injury with Tyler Huntley's confirmed season-ending surgery.
