Iitian Baba
In short
Iitian Baba is a colloquial term used to describe individuals who claim spiritual or mystical powers while boasting about their academic credentials from the Indian Institutes of Technology.
In plain words
It combines the prestige of an IIT degree with the persona of a religious guru. These people often use their scientific background to make their spiritual claims seem more believable to followers.
A simple example
A person might claim they can predict the future using quantum physics and their engineering degree from an IIT campus.
Why it matters
It highlights how academic authority can be misused to gain trust in non-scientific fields. It also reflects a unique cultural blend of modern education and traditional mysticism.
Easy to mix up
Do not confuse this with a genuine academic professor or a traditional religious saint who has no formal engineering background.
