How To Vote Online
In short
There are currently no live official updates for online voting systems available for today, 3 November 2026.
What is happening
Most national elections still require physical presence at a polling station or a postal vote. Some local organisations and private groups use digital platforms to conduct internal ballots.
When
The dates for specific online voting windows are not confirmed here.
Why it matters
Digital voting can increase turnout by making it easier for people to participate from home. However, it also raises serious concerns regarding cybersecurity and the secrecy of the ballot.
Easy to mix up
Do not confuse online voting with electronic voting machines, which are physical devices used inside a polling station.
