Horario Votacao
In short
Voting for the 2026 Brazilian second-round elections begins today, 25 October, at 08:00 Brasília time and concludes at 17:00.
In plain words
The polling stations are open for the second round of general elections. While the official time follows Brasília, the actual opening and closing hours may vary slightly depending on your specific state due to different time zones.
A simple example
If you live in a state with a different time zone, your local polling station might open or close at a different clock time than someone in Brasília.
Why it matters
This election decides the presidency and several state governments. Over 158 million voters are participating to choose between the final candidates.
Easy to mix up
Do not confuse the Brasília time with your local time if you live in a region with a different time zone.
