Homelander Recast
In short
Jake Green has replaced Antony Starr as the actor playing Homelander in the upcoming VR release Trigger Warning. This change applies specifically to the new Prime Video project for Meta Quest and PlayStation VR.
In plain words
The character Homelander is being played by a different actor for a new virtual reality game. While Antony Starr played the role in the main TV series, Jake Green takes over for this specific release.
A simple example
If you play the Trigger Warning VR experience on a PlayStation, you will see Jake Green performing as Homelander instead of the actor from the television show.
Why it matters
It marks a rare instance where a major character from a successful franchise is recast for a spin-off media project. Fans must adjust to a new face for one of the series' most iconic villains.
Easy to mix up
Do not confuse this with the main television series, where Antony Starr remains the established actor for the character.
