Hari Santri Tanggal Berapa
In short
Hari Santri is celebrated on 22 October 2026. This national day in Indonesia honours the role of Islamic boarding school students and teachers in the nation's history.
In plain words
It is a special day to recognise the contribution of santri to Indonesia. People often hold ceremonies, prayers, and speeches to mark the occasion.
A simple example
Schools and pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) hold flag ceremonies and recite official pledges provided by the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
Why it matters
The day commemorates the 'Resolusi Jihad', a historical movement that helped defend Indonesia's independence. It strengthens the cultural and religious identity of the country.
Easy to mix up
Do not confuse it with Islamic holidays like Eid al-Fitr, which follow the lunar calendar and change dates every year.
