Finales De La Wnba
In short
The Atlanta Dream and the Golden State Valkyries are competing in the 2026 WNBA Finals, a best-of-seven championship series starting this Saturday in California. Both teams are recognised as the league's top defensive units.
In plain words
This is the final round of the professional women's basketball season to decide the champion. The two best teams play a series of games, and the first to win four games wins the title.
A simple example
The Atlanta Dream will host the Valkyries at State Farm Arena for Games 3 and 4 to allow more fans to attend.
Why it matters
This series is historic as both franchises are playing for their very first championship title. It also features a clash between the two most dominant defensive teams in the league.
Easy to mix up
Do not confuse this with the NBA Finals, which is the championship series for men's professional basketball.
