Cyberpunk Edgerunners Season 2
In short
Cyberpunk Edgerunners Season 2 premieres on Netflix on 20 October 2026. It features an expanded cast and an ambitious story scope compared to the first season.
In plain words
This is the second season of the animated series set in the Cyberpunk world. It uses more complex animation and includes several new characters to tell a bigger story.
A simple example
Hideo Kojima appears in the show as the character Hideyoshi Oshima, the same role he played in the Cyberpunk 2077 video game.
Why it matters
The sequel attempts to build on the emotional impact of the first season while exploring a wider range of characters. It also connects more deeply with the original game through returning voice talent.
Easy to mix up
Do not confuse this animated series with the Cyberpunk 2077 video game, although they share the same world and characters.
