Crystal Lake Season 2
In short
Showrunner Brad Caleb Kane has confirmed he already has plans for a second season of the Friday the 13th prequel series. The production is currently exploring new stories and potential connections to the wider franchise.
In plain words
The show follows the origins of Pamela Voorhees in the early 1970s. Even though the first season has only just premiered on Peacock, the creator is already working on ideas for more episodes.
A simple example
The showrunner is considering bringing in characters like Tommy Jarvis to link the series to the original films.
Why it matters
A second season would expand the lore of the Friday the 13th universe. It allows the creators to answer unanswered questions from the first season's ending.
Easy to mix up
Do not confuse this series with the 'Welcome to Derry' show, which is a prequel to the IT films.
