Cblol
In short
CBLOL is the premier professional esports league for League of Legends in Brazil and Southern Latin America. It serves as the highest level of competition for players in this region.
In plain words
It is a professional tournament where the best Brazilian gaming teams compete against each other. The year is split into three separate parts, known as splits, to crown different champions.
A simple example
A team like LOUD competes in a split to earn points and qualify for the playoffs. If they win the playoffs, they become the CBLOL champions for that season.
Why it matters
The league provides a structured path for Brazilian players to turn gaming into a professional career. It also acts as a gateway for regional teams to qualify for international tournaments.
Easy to mix up
Do not confuse CBLOL with the LPL, which is the professional league based in China.
