Canciones De Halloween
In short
These are musical tracks specifically themed around spooky, scary, or supernatural topics for Halloween celebrations. Recent festivities have seen diverse genres used, from heavy metal performances by WASP to reggaeton concerts in Quito.
In plain words
Halloween songs use creepy sounds or lyrics about monsters and ghosts. They are played at parties, in films, or during themed concerts to create a spooky atmosphere.
A simple example
A classic example is 'Thriller' by Michael Jackson, which uses spooky themes to match a horror-style dance and video.
Why it matters
Music sets the mood for seasonal events and helps define the culture of Halloween parties. It also allows artists to experiment with different genres, such as rock or Latin music, to celebrate the holiday.
Easy to mix up
Do not confuse these with 'Canción Criolla', which is a separate cultural celebration in Peru.
