Beca Rita Cetina
In short
The Beca Rita Cetina is a Mexican government scholarship programme for primary and secondary school students. Registration for the current cycle opened today, 26 October 2026, and will remain open until 6 November.
In plain words
This programme provides financial support to families with children in basic education. Parents or guardians must apply online using their certified CURP and Llave MX credentials. It aims to help cover educational costs and school supplies.
A simple example
A parent in Durango can log onto the official government website today to register their child for the scholarship. They will need to use their digital identity tools to complete the process.
Why it matters
It helps reduce the financial burden on families and encourages children to stay in school. By providing funds for supplies and daily costs, it supports long-term educational stability.
Easy to mix up
Do not confuse it with the JOBEC programme, which is specifically for high school and university students.
