Arsenal Transfer News
In short
Arsenal are leading the race to sign Eli Kroupi, a player valued at €150m, as of 30 October 2026.
What is happening
The club is exploring a potential swap deal involving Vinícius Júnior and is targeting Atletico Madrid winger Alex Baena for future attacking reinforcements. However, plans for Alex Baena have stalled, and reports suggest captain Martin Ødegaard is open to a move to Bayern Munich.
When
The January transfer window is the next immediate period mentioned, though some targets like Alex Baena are linked to the summer.
Why it matters
Securing high-value talent like Kroupi could strengthen the squad, but losing a key leader like Ødegaard would significantly impact Mikel Arteta's tactical plans.
Easy to mix up
Do not confuse the current interest in Alex Baena with a completed deal, as recent reports indicate his transfer plan has stalled.
