Apple Macbook Pro Proled Xdr
In short
The Apple MacBook Pro PROLED XDR is Apple's first professional laptop series to feature a touchscreen display alongside an OLED panel. It is powered by the M5 Max chip and starts at a price of $2,899.
In plain words
This is a high-end laptop that uses advanced OLED technology for better colours and brightness. Unlike older MacBooks, you can use your fingers to touch and interact with the screen directly.
A simple example
A graphic designer can use their finger to zoom into a photo or move a layer on the screen, similar to using a tablet.
Why it matters
It marks a major shift in Apple's design by bringing touch capabilities to the Mac lineup. The new display technology offers much better contrast and visual quality for professionals.
Easy to mix up
Do not confuse this with the standard MacBook Pro models that use non-touch Liquid Retina XDR displays.
